This is a way to make the teeth appear white and straight using restorations. A crown is made of a beautiful ceramic material that is made to fit perfectly over the tooth.
A veneer is a thin piece of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of the tooth to make it look straight/longer/whiter (or all three).
We always aim for a minimal preparation which means only a small amount of natural tooth is removed. In some cases it is even possible to have zero preparation veneers, so we do not remove any healthy tooth.
Crowns or veneers will look their best for 10-15 years or so with good maintenance from you.
